Summary information

Kazantzakis’ impressions from his two journeys to Russia (the Soviet Union) in 1925 and 1927. Impressions from his first journey in 1925-26 appeared in an early form in Eleftheros Logos (November - December 1925) and Proia (8-14.1.1928). During the Occupation he reworked the text, adding impressions from his third journey (1928-29). The work henceforth appeared under the new title Travels. Russia.
