Call for Papers

The International Committee for Literary and Composers’ Museums (ICLM)’s main aim is to develop activities such as research, publishing, exhibition and education for literary historical and biographical museums as well as for composers’ museums. Its members receive one newsletter per year and have the opportunity to participate in annual conferences and in the activities of a number of working groups.

This year’s conference will be held in Greece and it will be co-organized by the Hellenic National Committee of the International Council of Museums (ICOM) and the Kazantzakis Museum in Crete. Nikos Kazantzakis is a universally recognized intellectual author and thinker and for this reason the Greek Ministry of Culture has declared 2017 «Year of Nikos Kazantzakis» and the ICLM Conference will be included in the program of the official celebration.

The theme of the Conference is “Exhibition. New insights” and aims to stimulate discussion and exchange of ideas between museum professionals, academics, researchers, consultants, government officials and postgraduate students from all museum-related fields on new challenges and perspectives of literary and composers museums’ exhibitions.
