The Kazantzakis Museum for the first time takes part in the Thessaloniki International Book Fair (TIBF), which will be held from 11 to 14 May 2017 at the TIF – HELEXPO.

• The Museum’s archivist, PhD candidate Voula Vassiliadis, will give a lecture entitled "Nikos Kazantzakis: Controversy and Recognition" | Saturday 13 May 2017, 11.00-12.00, Hall "N. Kazantzakis "/ Kiosk 13

• For Kazantzakis' young friends there will be a children's documentary titled "Nikos Kazantzakis, an anxious traveler", directed by Katerina Evangelakou. Introductory speech about the film will be given by Eleftheria Kabitaki. For children 5-15 years old |Thursday 11 May 2017, 11.00-12.00, Thematic Pavilion "South"

• Exhibition for the life and works of Nikos Kazantzakis on the occasion of the 60th anniversary of his death. The exhibition, organized by the Hellenic Foundation for Culture, in collaboration with the Kazantzakis Museum, includes large artistic surfaces and banners, with themes from Kazantzakis' main works, recreating the aesthetic perception of a museum devoted to the author who is still read and loved around the world. Editor: Dimitris Kalokyris. Open every day in the front area of Pavilion 15.

For the thematic tribute to Nikos Kazantzakis, different events will be held to the exhibition’s area by the Kazantzakis Publications, the International Society of Friends of Nikos Kazantzakis and other institutions.
