"eARTh - recreating European narrations to climate-change awareness narrative and transcultural anthological performance with holograms"

The Project:

The eARTh programme is a transnational initiative between Greece, Hungary and Italy, aiming to create a hybrid, interdisciplinary holographic performance which will re-envision classical literary works familiar to EU natives, under the light of the current environmental situation.

The organizations participating in the implementation of the project are: GM (Golden Movies) STUDIO and The Nikos Kazantzakis Museum (Greece), Pro Progressione (Hungary) and Casa della Città Leopold (Italy).

Project results will come through an intensive mobility training, where the groups of various participants from each country (writers, actors, animators, tech specialists) will come together to form to learn about climate change, to incubate on their primary idea and finally form production teams that will assemble a hybrid and inter-disciplinary storytelling narrative with visual, performing and holographic components. This process will give the opportunity to educate and entertain various audiences, while at the same time teaching them and giving them space for emotional growth.
