Nikos Kazantzakis Museum today completes one of its most creative circles, as Mrs. Barbara Tsaka, the 20 years Museum's Director,  voluntarily resigned.

Mrs. Chaka with her associates, her morality, hard work, organization, methodically, team spirit, and apt choices transformed our museum from a local, literary home/museum, into a center of a culture that spread the actions and its range across the country and beyond the border, making it a model museum, an attraction for thousands of visitors, scientists, scholars, people of letters, and the arts. For 20 years the Kazantzakis Museum has become an extension of her home and will always remain open to her.

The Museum's Board of Directors thanks her for her enormous contribution and wishes her good and creative continuity in the next round of her life, where she decides to offer her services and convey her vast experience.

Mrs. Marilena Milathianaki, after serving as the General Secretary of the Museum's Board of Directors for many years, is appointed as the new Director of Nikos Kazantzakis Museum.
